Two hundred Skelmersdale and West Lancashire residents took up a fantastic opportunity to meet with employers through Lancashire Adult Learning and Jobcentre Plus. There was also the opportunity to meet 15 local employers and apply for live vacancies, gain expert careers advice and take part in employability workshops to improve CV writing and job application skills. LAL also helped two thirds of adult learners on its employability and skills based courses progress into employment or further learning.
