A simple truth. Maturing is a never-ending process. People think being an adult is the peak of being mature, and yet, we never stop maturing and changing.
It is not when we start speaking big things, but rather when we start understanding small things. Remember that if you want to be mature and wise, you must first have to be young and stupid. Life does not prepare you for the responsibility that comes along with being an adult.
Longing for acceptance and love are two things most of us desire for. We seek for meaning and belonging in many ways, through relationship or work. They experience a sense of inadequacy that is shown through feeling of guilt and stress. They have the uncanny ability to keep everyone happy almost all the time, except that they are not truly happy themselves.
Find healthy ways to release and express your emotions instead. First, understand why you are feeling this way. Answer three questions: what happened before, how does it feel in your body, and how would you label the feeling?
